October 1st, 2009 – West Palm Beach, FL – The National Sport Compact Racing Association (NSCRA) is gearing up for its biggest event yet at Palm Beach International Raceway. On Sunday October 4th, 2009 the World’s Fastest Sport Compacts will gather to battle it out on the quarter mile once again. This time around the NSCRA is placing a bounty for the first 6-second pass in the Modified Sport Compact class. History is going to be made for certain on October 4th, 2009 it’s just a matter of which team will do it first. Mazworx will be making a triumphant return with their rebuilt S15 after the May 3rd, 2009 event’s mishap. Luis Corujo will be piloting his Paradise Racing Celica to try to be first in the 6s. America’s fastest racers will not be the only ones battling for the bounty into the 6s. Puerto Rico’s fastest cars will be making their way to Palm Beach International Raceway as well. Will it be America or Puerto Rico into the 6s first to claim the bounty?

All seven heads-up classes featuring intense drag racing will be televised on Inside Drag Racing aired on the Fox Sports Network to 100 million households nationwide. The NSCRA has been working hard to get their racers the exposure they deserve and having the October 4th, 2009 event nationally televised is just what sport compact drag racing needs. With this partnership the NSCRA will be bringing sport compact drag racing to the main spotlight attracting millions of viewers. “Look forward to a fast paced, action packed program highlighting all aspects of the NSCRA event,” said Butch McCall, C.O.O. of Masters TV.

In addition to the action packed drag racing action, the NSCRA have partnered up with NOS Energy Drink to not only fuel the spectators during a fun filled day but keep the action off the track just as hot. A Live DJ Lounge and stage will be on hand providing endless entertainment in between rounds. Speaking of entertainment, the Tunerzine.com Hot Body Contest will be hosted by none other than Jessica Barton. Not only is she one of the fastest girls on the track, she’s one of the hottest! So who other than Barton herself to help search for Miss NSCRA 2010? The winner of the Hot Body Contest will be featured on Tunerzine.com shortly after the event.

If that wasn’t enough, the NSCRA Live Mobile Dyno will be up and running with some of the world’s highest horsepower cars spinning their wheels live to the spectators. Trophies and cash prizes will be awarded with different classes of competition throughout the day. Want to see what a 1000hp Toyota Supra 2JZ sounds like revv’ing to 10,000rpms right in front of your eyes? How about a naturally aspirated K-series Honda putting down 300whp? Make sure to stop by the NSCRA Mobile Dyno to see it live in action.

Lastly, car show competitors will be able to compete in over 20 classes with trophies and cash prizes. Tunerzine.com will be on hand to feature the winners on their website. Best of all, all spectators, car show competitors, mobile dyno competitors and hot body contestants will have a chance to be seen on Fox Sports Network to millions of households. What more could you ask for? Discounted pre-sale tickets are now available from authorized NSCRA ticket vendors (list below). Make sure to head out to Palm Beach International Raceway on October 4th, 2009 to catch all the action live. Gates open at 8:00am.
