HIN GoGo Competition Rules and Regulations

All competitors must have signed release forms (release and the GoGo competition forms will be available in Model Central) and be checked in with Jae Angel in Model Central by 6pm. Late check in will not be permitted.

Jae Angel will give you numbers for the order and time slot in which you will appear and take you to the Main Stage to ensure you get backstage.

Any performer who misses her time slot will not be allowed to enter.

YOU ARE BEING JUDGED BY 5 DIFFERENT CRITERIA

• Personal Style/Appearance/Wardrobe


• Form


• Rhythm/Dance Ability


• Energy/Stamina


• Audience Interaction/Participation

REGULATIONS/DISQUALIFICATION

To be fair to all competitors we have created guidelines in which you must follow. Have fun and get into dancing and the spirit of competition however, you will be disqualified if you perform any of the following acts:

YOU CAN NOT:

• Dance/Crawl on Judges Tables or (lap dance) for any of the judges


• Remove any clothing .i.e. this is not a strip show

You may not expose/flash your breast to the judges/audience, to be more specific, you may not expose yourself even if you are wearing pasties. Same goes for your bottom half; you may not expose your thong or undergarments to the judges or the audience.

Thongs or See thru clothing is not permitted in the competition (we are following the same guidelines as the HIN Model Attire Guidelines)

-Typical gogo attire is acceptable

HOW THE COMPETITION WORKS:

• GoGos will be sent out on stage in groups of two or three.


• You will dance for a period of roughly 2-5 minutes (feels longer than you think while you’re on center stage)


• Once all gogo groups have danced, all gogo’s will be brought to the center stage while judges tally all votes.


• Top 5 or 6 (depending on how many are competing) will be called to do another round of dancing in groups of two.


• After all 6 have danced their final round, they will be brought to the front of the stage to dance together.


• Top 3 will be announced to the audience

*There will be roughly 4-5 judges who will be judging the competition. Some who have professional dance experience, some gogos, and other guest personalities. For the Pleasanton competition three of the gogo judges confirmed are:

• Pearl Nalani: Model and former Gogo dancer


• Erin McKinnon: Maxim Hometown Hottie 2007 and Vegas week contestant on “So you think you can dance”.


• Jeri Lee: Import Model and Gogo Dancer

WINNERS and PRIZES

There will be 3 winners announced, 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place. Winners are based on the judges’ scores. Prize money is awarded as followed:

• 1st Place: $300 plus show gift bag


• 2nd Place: $200 plus show gift bag


• 3rd Place: $100 plus show gift bag
